Sound Beach Contracting is owned and run by Dashiell Ross. From 2023 to 2026 he ran finance and project controls at a commercial interior finishes subcontractor: pay applications and billing, job cost, change orders, buyout, and paying subcontractors and suppliers.
Nick No has worked on the owner's side: as an assistant project manager at a national real estate developer, running development budgets and managing contractors on multifamily and conversion projects, and before that in real estate debt and equity.
The company is built so the owner does not have to manage the finish: crews that show up, handoffs between trades that don't fall through, and bills that get paid. Sound Beach is well capitalized, and pays its crews weekly and its suppliers on time.
